sorry for not writing for so long. i think facebook and the direct contact to many people kept me away from my blog….
i really enjoyed being back in Germany and had to digest all the things that I experienced in Jerusalem. Also I have been involved with the House of prayer in Karlsruhe and i have been on a litlle trip lately to Herrnhut. Herrnhut is the place where the Moravians started 24hour prayer that lasted for 100 years. We (Christiane, Anne, Barbara, Joelle and me) had a little tour by a woman from Herrnhut who works with „Jesus House“. since I want to know how things that are really precious stop I wanted to know why the 24 hour prayer stopped. the woman said that you don´t exactly know why, but one reason was that the Moravian missionaries started to bring home little wooden statutes and gods from other nations and they became lukewarm. so the mixture that they allowed stopped the fire they had for the Glory of God and the truth of Him being the only one… it was inspiring to be there and us girls had a truly blessed time there!!
the most of the time since i am back in Germany I live with my Grandma and Grandpa in the little village I grew up in. Interesting to be back here for a season and to dig for treasures in my family!! but I also applied for a visa and will be going back to ZHOP soon. I have a visa for five years!! it is called a religious workers visa and I look very much forward to be in one spot for a longer period of time!!! Travelling is nice. but exhausting after a while – if i am honest…..
well, God is good! He has been faithful all along, protecting me and blessing my heart! Even with little things like learning cooking from my Grandma
